In my instruments I am looking for precision, definition, balance, dynamic range and ease of play. I will be able to shape character of the sound by the choice of woods and the treatment of the thicknesses and bracing. If you want an instrument with more attack or a softer bass, a lighter touch or more resistance, finger style vs flat picking, a wider/narrower neck with a specific profile, I will take all this into consideration to make the instrument that is right for you.
